Review: This conventional looking take on the storied life of Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir sees her premiership during a tumultuous time in Israel’s existence. The trailer lacks dramatic tension and while Helen Mirren looks terrific, the rest of the cast, including Liev Schreiber, look disappointing at best.

Oscar Prospects:

Helen Mirren could be a Best Actress contender, but early word on the film isn’t entirely positive, so she’s probably the film’s only chance.
