Review: (#1, C) The quasi-futuristic identification boxes on this design speak well to the film’s authoritarian premise but there’s too much empty space, dominated by a garish shade of red-orange. (#2, C) The record button is somewhat obvious but the intent and the background don’t make any sense. (#3, C) Another lackluster effort, this one doing better with color selection featuring off-white, yellow, and faded red. It’s a striking arrangement of colors but it doesn’t tell the viewer enough about the film.

Trailer Rating: C

Review: (#1, C) What this film wants to be is unclear. It takes time before you realize it’s a quasi-futuristic story and even longer before you realize that it’s also a dystopian tale. Even after all of that, there doesn’t seem to be any purpose to the film’s existence and definitely no rooting interest.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
