Review: (#1, C) The twist on the Ralph Lauren logo, adding the grim reaper as the rider, is an interesting symbolic effect if only it weren’t overwhelmed by the immense white background. The use of dark blue-green is a seldom used but interesting color choice.
(#2, C) This might have a more appealing effort if the smirk didn’t feel smarmy rather than sly. (#3, C) An empty white background is never an advisable choice for a poster design even if the shade of green is relatively unique for poster designs. There’s nothing in the tagline or the central figure that excites. (#4, B-) While we’re still working with the ungainly white, the family tree cross-through concept is one that could work much better with more detail. (#5, C+) Less white makes for better but not by much with the same smirk pushes away viewers while the commonplace design structure does little to intrigue. (#6, C) Blending Glen Powell’s character into the black background is disconcerting visually. The smirk is still there and the prison bar aesthetic made out of the estate gate has some merit but won’t necessarily click with all viewers.
Trailer Rating: B-

Review: (#1, B-) Although the casting looks mediocre (most notably Glen Powell), the concept could have some merit. While it is unlikely to be as good as Kind Hearts and Coronets, it could be pleasantly diverting.
