Review: There’s nothing remotely clever about the poster. Putting Adam Sandler into Kevin James’ arms and throwing in a fireman’s hat just makes the premise seem even more cheap than it already is.

Trailer Rating: C-

Review: Sandler seems a bit toned down here but the premise is so cheesy that this modern-day Green Card will be popular in certain circles, but not where it matters most. Whether the gay community embraces it remains to be seen, but they may take offense to many of the quite obvious stereotypes that will emerge from it.

Oscar Prospects:

Just like Gerard Depardieu and Andie MacDowell were ignored for Green Card, Sandler and James will be bypassed as will the film be.
