Review: (#1, C) The title is confusing and the image is thematic but with that empty white background, it loses so much of its creative energy.

(#2, B-) Having a lot of empty space can be used effectively but that is not the case here. The stacking figures in the flaming fiery trail gives it some distinctiveness against other designs in the cineplex, there’s simply not enough non-character details here to make it understandable or exciting.

Review: (#1, B) Quentin Tarantino’s oeuvre has gone back to the blaxplotation era of cinema enough times that it’s surprising it hasn’t been more frequently emulated. This looks like an attempt to rectify that, even pulling in Kill Bill‘s Vivica A. Fox as a woman who wants her husband dead and enlists her daughters. The revenge elements seem to fit the genre but it struggles a lot trying to convince the audience there’s something unique or intriguing in the telling.
