Review: (#1) While it’s visually striking, it’s excessively staged with everything appearing as if it’s cut and pasted into the trailer from various sources, none of them the same. It will certainly draw the eye, but not much else.

(#2-#5) This quartet of character posters lacks background depth and while each is unique and they are cohesive, they just aren’t terribly appealing.

Trailer Rating: C+ / B+ / C

Review: (#1) A fairly tepid, straightforward trailer that has a small amount of humor and suggests the film will be similar to, but possibly more appealing than The Hangover.

(#2) Once you allow the designers to use language that’s forbidden in green-band trailers, this comedy comes alive. It’s the risquรฉ and coarse elements that really make the energy of the film pop and will be greatly more appealing to audiences.

(#3) The prior trailer was so hilarious that any subsequent trailer was bound to disappoint and this paint-by-numbers design on makes the film look like it’s struggling to find its own footing.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
