Review: (#1, C+) You can barely identify the uniform in this poster, which will hinder the film’s chances of finding an audience. It has a celebratory feel, which fits the tagline but does little to prepare or entice the audience.

Review: (#1, B) Establishing the character, a final draft pick who wants to play football more than anything and the struggles he goes through to get there, the grit and determination is palpable as is the emotional connective tissue of the film. Unfortunately, it delves into manipulative concepts fairly easily and that might make it difficult to decide this is the movie for most audiences to see over the Christmas holiday.
