Review: (#1 & #2) These two designs are similar enough to link together and both are trying to make the boy awkward (as the tagline suggests) while highlighting the presence of Jennifer Lawrence, who gets sole above-the-line recognition from both. It might appeal, but it’s too simplistic to be of merit.

Review: (#1) A surprisingly hilarious trailer puts forth a rather ludicrous idea and sells it with earnest amusement. Jennifer Lawrence does a lot of the heavy lifting in getting the funniest moments to work, but Andrew Barth Feldman more than steps up to the plate.

(#2) The story itself is given a brief hit in the trailer so the viewer knows what’s going on, but the deadpan humor is so gloriously raunchy without being offensive, that it creates the perfect vehicle for the persona Jennifer Lawrence has cultivated for herself. Should be an interesting time.
