Review: (#1, C) For a film that has such a familiar and appealing concept as the power and potency of cinema, this design is a complete failure. The empty white space and the lack of image details forces the title to do more heavy lifting than it should and even then the plot of the film is amorphous and unappealing as a result.

Review: (#1, C+) There have been a handful of films over the years that have highlighted the excitement and nostalgia of the moviegoing experience. They almost always take place in these small, art house cinema houses, and invariably rely on the audience’s built-in feelings towards those monoliths to make them a success. Few have actually done so and this looks like another in the long list of failures in that realm.
