Review: The effort to connect to the Robots title looks cheap with the mechanical hands obviously PhotoShopped in and the glowing blue eyes more off-putting than enticing. Throw in the bland background and the unappealing hue and font of the titling and you have a design that feels over-produced while still looking chintzy.

Review: It’s a concept that might have been better put into the hands of someone like Yorgos Lanthimos, who could accentuate the film’s absurdness. Instead, the trailer handles the content like a genuine romantic comedy and that feels at odds with the light humor and cheap tactics on display.
