Review: (#1) The vast empty background highlights the figures in the lower third and those figures sitting on playground equipment in varying stages of excitement does tell about the characters themselves, but it feels like a minimal effort. (#2) Taking the same crude background and adding larger versions of the figures, but without signifying details ultimately feels like a dodge.

Trailer Rating: B+

Review: The humor on display is obvious, but esoteric. The film looks to be a fascinating romantic seriocomedy with appealing leads and some rather fascinating rejoinders. The fisheye shots at various points in the trailer make this look like a visually unique effort, which might just be enough to make this one a must-see for any serious cineaste.

Oscar Prospects:

Early buzz is good and the trailer suggests a movie that will appeal to a broad cross-section of critics leading it to strong reviews and perhaps a holdover to the fall.
