Review: (#1, C) Sitting for a portrait was a common event in this era and while that does speak somewhat to the concept of the film itself, there’s not enough detail to create intrigue in the passer-by. A spilled glass, a porcine ass and a ladder each have thematic relevance but not are not sufficiently meritorious.

Trailer Rating: C+

Review: (#1, C+) With what looks to be a stellar turn by Richard E. Grant, the film’s premise is poorly conveyed. It requires the audience put together pieces that aren’t well connected across the trailer’s span. It could be interesting in the way The Favourite was but prospects aren’t high.

Oscar Prospects:

Richard E. Grant could be a minor contender if the film takes off at the specialty box office or gets major attention from critics.
