Review: (#1, B) While some studios are satisfied with simple teasers that don’t tell the audience much about the film’s content, DreamWorks wants audiences to actually build excitement for their film without resulting to cheap theatrics and this trailer hits many of the expected notes while also remind audiences why they enjoyed the prior films in the series.

Oscar Prospects:

The first Shrek won the very first Best Animated Feature award. The second was nominated but didn’t win. Since then, none of the films were nominated. It’s possible the return could make an appearance but it’s just as likely that it won’t be nominated.
