Review: (#1 & #2) These two designs speak differently about the characters, but it requires a viewing of the trailer to truly understand that connection. That said, while they lack sufficient background details and the skyline motif is a bit overdone, they have a certain visual strength that will make them appealing.

(#3) What feels so off about this design is the overbearing white that overcomes much of the lower image and fails to accentuate the design against the darker colors of the characters with a weak bluish tint.

(#4) All that blank space at the bottom third and the empty cloud elements in the upper third combine to make a design that lacks purpose.

Trailer Rating: B-

Review: There’s an interesting premise here, but it looks like a cross between Blade Runner and Robbie Amell’s other sci-fi effort, Upload. It could have potential, but feels very familiar, which won’t help it find an audience.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
