Review: (#1-#8) A series of character posters that lack character. They are largely distinct, but also far too similar.

(#9) Similar enough to the prior designs to be indistinct without focus, but not different enough to be better. (#10) It’s a stark design with bold colors. There isn’t a lot to it with just a bunch of names and a couple of plaudits, but it nicely contrasts itself enough to be interesting.

Trailer Rating: B / A-

Review: (#1) There’s just a little bit of Being John Malkovich to this trailer, which gives it just enough stylistic heft to carry it on to new audiences. The story is very pointed and that makes it even more potentially fascinating.

(#2) While it’s not too different from the first trailer, tossing in the visual embellishment effects and making the entire trailer feel like a twisted Being John Malkovich-inspired journey into racism and telemarketing, this is a film that looks more interesting the more you see of it.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
