Review: (#1) If this design were shown at Cannes, it might have had a certain appeal, but for mass audiences, and possibly even some film enthusiasts, she won’t be easily recognizable and thus is a poor choice for a poster centerpiece. (#2) Colors that aren’t as often used do make for a pleasing visual palette, but the tepid nature of the central image doesn’t exactly spark interest.

Trailer Rating: B

Review: A well crafted trailer is required to adequately push a thriller forward and this is done quite well, making the whole premise seem fascinating without giving away too much of what’s about to happen to any of the characters in the film. A solid effort.

Oscar Prospects:

Claire Denis’ latest, if submitted, could be a solid contender in the Best International Feature race.
