Review: (#1, B) The film itself seems inspired by the Airplane films of the 1980s but that twist of the head of the train gives it a snake-like quality that’s disconcerting. While there are some figures in the background that adds some much needed contrast, there’s far too little to find in this trailer to encourage repeated viewings.
(#2, A-) With the final trailer to remind the viewer of Airplane, this design becomes even more obvious. There isn’t a lot to it but having many of the film’s characters stuck into the spiraling train, it’s engaging and detailed enough to generate some level of excitement.

Review: (#1, B-) Taking its cues from the slapstick comedy of 1980’s Airplane!, while infusing it with female impersonators and comedic actors in an absurd and unusual comedy that looks equal parts daring and dumb.
(#2, B-) The prior trailer looked like it was inspired by Airplane!, this effort suggests its more than an inspiration. It’s not that the film takes away from the 1980 parody but almost acts as a queer parody of that film. Although this looks to be something designed to appeal to RuPaul’s Drag Race fans, the broader comedy may engender excitement beyond that base.

None.
