Review: (#1) The attempt to sell this film is perhaps a bit boneheaded. While the title font selection, the Restricted dog tag and the wet snout certainly speak to the film’s content, it doesn’t have enough creative energy to sustain interest.

(#2) We have the same style as the previous, but with a new actor and dog. They were likely meant as a pair, but were released too far apart to be connected initially. Either way, no improvement this time out.

(#3) It might tell the viewer what type of film it is, but it’s such a hideous effort that I can’t imagine anyone being drawn in specifically by this design. (#4) This German title is notably unfunny, though it does fit with the more risquรฉ images selected on the poster.

Trailer Rating: C+ / C- / C

Review: (#1) There are some funny moments in the trailer, but it all looks far too choreographed and staged to be genuine amusing. Contrived is probably the best word to describe it.

(#2) There might be some deviance from the prior trailer, but the bleeps grow tiresome after awhile as do the emoticons blocking lips. It all feels like a tepid attempt to make the film feel more controversial than it likely is.

(#3) Reusing most of the bits from the previous trailers, the humor is shockingly lacking for something that’s supposed to take pride in its outrageousness.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
