Review: (#1, C) While they have room to improve, their starting design isn’t that exciting. It might tell the audience who it is without a title but it’s simplistic and generally uninteresting.

(#2, C+) A bit more detail than prior designs but nothing special. It’s limited to three colors and the Things amp up the cuteness factor of the design.

Review: (#1, C+) Mediocre humor through most of the trailer and a lack of detail about the premise makes this latest attempt to turn the popular Dr. Seuss book into a franchise look tepid and uninteresting.

(#2, B) Going from confused and minimal information trailers to throw the entire plot at the audience ones just highlights how little is going for this film. Some of the moments are cute and enticing but just as many fall flat and the lack of connectedness to the original source material may disappoint some fans.

Oscar Prospects:

An Animated Feature nomination is possible.
