Review: (#1, C) A simplistic effort that sets the post-apocalyptic vibe with the background but does little to excite the viewer with the foreground.

(#2, C+) With only the background telling you it’s a post-apocalyptic tale, this design is at least colorful and will stand out against other similar designs. That said, the construction is sophomoric and lacking in creative energy.

Review: (#1, B) The premise is wispy in the trailer, choosing to establish the setting and the stakes before launching into perpetual action sequences and ham-fisted romantic elements. There are some interesting elements to it that might make it worth the viewer’s time.

(#2, B) Without the kind of action audiences crave, this trailer still provides enough chills to generate a modicum of excitement. The audience does get more information about the post-apocalyptic world at the heart of the film and that might be just enough, paired with the prior trailer, to build up interest in the film.
