Review: (#1, C) It’s always interesting trying to figure out the reason for using image-alteration programs to make people look less realistic and more plastic. Sophie Turner and Marcia Gay Harden have a lot of work done while Kit Harington has little. The inconsistent lighting is also frustrating while the lower half of the design doesn’t make much sense even with the context of the trailer.

(#2, C+) It’s striking from a color use perspective but unlikely to create general interest in the film.

Trailer Rating: C

Review: (#1, C) A period drama with supernatural undercurrents but a rather dull love story set against its backdrop. The premise is a bit confusing and the trailer does little to allow itself to be distinguished from other efforts set in this period.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
