Review: (#1, B-) A crime thriller set in 1970s Hollywood looks like a cross between Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown but with light comedic touches. It very much feels like a Quentin Tarantino film but struggles to find a way to suggest the film is anything new or original.

Oscar Prospects:

The character in this film won the Oscar for star Brad Pitt in a prior film by Quentin Tarantino. Could this one be an Oscar player? Maybe but Tarantino isn’t directing and it’s taken so long to release it’s first trailer, the doubts are extensive.
