Review: (#1, B-) It’s a familiar aesthetic for family comedies but with the interesting horror dimension thrown in. The colors are interesting even if the posing is stiff but it’s a solid effort nonetheless.

Review: (#1, C+) While it does look like a cheap comedy, some fine actors are involved in the film, including Emmy winners Brian Cox, Edie Falco, and Lisa Kudrow as well as Breaking Bad actor Dean Norris and the always welcome Parker Posey. This family horror comedy looks bonkers and sometimes in the best way but never quite argues for its own existence. Still, if you want to see Cox, Falco, Kudro, Norris, and Posey doing something deadpan humor, you might be in for a treat.
