Review: (#1, C+) There’s nothing compelling about this image. It’s simple and has thematic relevance but by itself isn’t going to sell many tickets.

(#2, C) The color scheme is period drudgery at its least appealing. The limited number of details makes it even further garish and underwhelming.

Review: (#1, B) An active rebellion about an insincere king who’s starving his people through taxation, has a lot of relevance to modern society giving weight to what otherwise feels like a familiar story being told in a slightly different way.

Oscar Prospects:

Paul Greengrass often stalls in the run-up to the Oscar nominations and fails to produce but this one could overcome that with its “timely” message.
