Review: (#1, C+) A bare hint of the film’s content, this electric chair motif requires a familiarity with the antiquated and rarely seen execution device. The humanoid outline does help but the background doesn’t fit the design aesthetic. (#2, B) Taking the simple image of the electric chair and then adding a setting around it, creating depth and reflection, and generally giving the design a creepy feel makes for an effort that looks aesthetically pleasing and artistically reasoned. It’s too bad the garish and ill-fitting title font ruins the power third of the design.

Review: (#1, B) When presenting a mystery for the audience to solve, creating suspense is a necessity. At times this trailer suggests some interesting things going on but it ends up confusing itself and the viewer with a weedy story that the trailer almost entirely gives away or offers the merest of hint at something more compelling.
