Review: (#1, C) I suppose if you can recognize this as a whale without the title, you have no problem understanding the image but not the film itself.

(#2, C) A Jaws-esque design, the blue outline, the sparse backdrop, and the “killer” nature of its pose suggest a film entirely different from what’s displayed in the trailer. Most will simply dismiss this as a throwaway whale-based horror flick.

(#3, C) It’s interesting how clear the mask is considering the film’s premise and content. There isn’t sufficient alarm in those eyes to be interesting. (#4, C+) Making the whale a bigger part of the design is somewhat effective but depth and positioning of the figures look disproportionate.

Review: (#1, C) Getting a brief set up, the bulk of the trailer deals with a diver trying to avoid being swallowed by a whale. It’s certainly a thrilling start but there’s absolutely no explanation of plot or satisfaction of story that will get audiences excited about this film. A pulse-pounding scene doesn’t equate intrigue.

(#2, C) Almost picking up where the last trailer left off, this gives the viewer slightly more information about the premise of the film without suggesting a film that is both engaging and entertaining. Those who look forward to the uniqueness of the concept might find something interesting here but most will see it as a rather boring narrative.

(#3, B-) The first two trailers tried to create suspense and intrigue but failed. This design focuses better on the struggle of the protagonist within the whale’s belly. It’s a surprisingly intense set of scenes but the insistence that this must be seen on the biggest screen possible seems like a stretch.
