To color John Carter a disappointment, one would have had to expect more out of it to start. From the beginning, I had a feeling the film wouldn’t perform to the expectations of its parent. Disney’s live action undertakings have always been disappointing. So coming in second to the sophomore frame of Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax may be galling, but it was certainly expected in some circles.

Perhaps I’m fuzzy on the Division 1 rules, but I’m wondering why I got nothing for predicting the closest money amount and the correct placement of The Lorax; wherein Zach gets the credit, but he predicted John Carter. I thought it was possibly because Zach and I had made the same prediction of $40 million and his was first, but I thought we could duplicate. Only curious.
