Wesley Lovell (WL): Tom Holland isn’t close to my favorite Spider-Man and the reboot, Disney-influenced films have been on the better side of mediocre, so I’m not particularly enthused about this one. Peter J. Patrick (PP): Hopefully the CGI don’t overwhelm the story in this latest Spider-Man flick. Thomas LaTourette (TL): It seems strange to see Spider-Man and Dr. Strange interacting, but it also looks like an entertaining flick with great effects.

Wesley Lovell (WL): Even if early word isn’t the best, it’s got an appealing cast and Guillermo del Toro never fails to entertain even when he’s at his worst. Peter J. Patrick (PP): Remake of the noir classic could be one of the year’s best films if handled right. Thomas LaTourette (TL): The remake of the noir classic has the chance to be very good, though reviews are decent but not ecstatic.

Wesley Lovell (WL): It might be an ok film, but in the midst of other potentially great films, it’s easily forgettable. Peter J. Patrick (PP): Female sports drama was a festival hit but nothing in the trailer convinces me it’s anything special. Thomas LaTourette (TL): Other films have shown an athlete trying to be the best in their field, though this does have a few unique twists that may make it better than some.

Wesley Lovell (WL): I’m surprisingly excited about this one. I think Ben Affleck looks terrific and early word is that George Clooney is near the top of his game again. Peter J. Patrick (PP): George Clooney’s latest should be an actors showcase for Ben Affleck and Tye Sheridan. Thomas LaTourette (TL): Anchored by a strong performance by Ben Affleck, this could turn out to be a warm hearted winner of a film.
