With these new wide releases, I’d say Project Hail Mary will probably keep its spot at the top of the box office. Between the wide releases, The Will Kill You may well be the top of those films.

WIDE RELEASES
FORBIDDEN FRUITS THEY WILL KILL YOU

Forbidden Fruits

Wesley Lovell: This modern Heathers-like drama doesn’t look half as good.

Pete Patrick: One of two wide release horror movies to avoid this week.

Thomas La Tourrette: The reviews of this horror comedy are decent but the preview does nothing to interest me in it.

They Will Kill You

Wesley Lovell: It has some potential but I’m torn about whether it will be any good.

Pete Patrick: The other wide release horror movie to avoid this week.

Thomas La Tourrette: The second horror comedy of the week does not have as good reviews and the violence just feels too over the top for me.

LIMITED RELEASES
FANTASY LIFE HOLY DAYS OUR HERO, BALTHAZAR YOU’RE DATING A NARCISSIST

The Limited Slate

Wesley Lovell: A couple of potentially interesting movies and a couple of ones that look kinda bad.

Pete Patrick: Holy Days looks like an Irish charmer and Our Hero, Balthazar looks like an intriguing precautionary satire on gun violence.

Thomas La Tourrette: None of the trailers sells the movies, though Fantasy Life and maybe You’re Dating a Narcissist! might show some slight promise.
