Neither of this week’s new entries will top the second week of Iron Man, but The Great Gatsby should pique enough interest to become the week’s #1 new movie.

Wesley Lovell: The excess of Baz Luhrmann is fascinating, though Australia was a bit of a disappointment. The indie side doesn’t have that much that’s terribly interesting.
Peter J. Patrick: A good week for going out to a ball game or a concert, anything but a new movie.
Tripp Burton: Summer movie season is here, and for the second week in a row we get one of the biggest releases of the year.
