The fourth Expendables film will determine whether or not this franchise will continue to have legs. It doesn’t have the hype of something like the Fast & Furious films, but it should do well enough to top the box office.

WIDE RELEASES

EXPEND4BLES

IT LIVES INSIDE

Expend4bles

Wesley Lovell: I have zero interest in this franchise.

Peter J. Patrick: Looks like an embarrassment for all concerned.

Thomas La Tourrette: I have not seen the earlier films of this series, and nothing about this trailer makes me want to see this one.

It Lives Inside

Wesley Lovell: It might be interesting, but I’m not entirely sure.

Peter J. Patrick: Another schlocky horror film to avoid.

Thomas La Tourrette: The trailer starts out interestingly enough but degenerates into a typical horror trailer.

LIMITED RELEASES

DUMB MONEY

FLORA AND SON

MY SAILOR, MY LOVE

THE ORIGIN OF EVIL

RELAX, I’M FROM THE FUTURE

The Limited Slate

Wesley Lovell: None of these seem really interesting, but Relax might at least be a little fun.

Peter J. Patrick: Flora and Son and My Sailor, My Love look like real charmers. Forget the rest.

Thomas La Tourrette: Dumb Money is the one film of the group that I want to see, and that is more from the reviews than the trailer. Some of the others may be worth seeing, but they mostly seem a bit weak to carry the full movie.
