Shark Night 3D and Apollo 18 are attempting to cannibalize the same audience, which could allow another film to sneak into the top spot at the box office this week. Could it be a third week at #1 for The Help or perhaps The Debt could reach the top.

This would have been a contender last year, but it got delayed. And Labor Day weekend may be the worst time to release it, so I don’t know that it’s actually any good.

The film’s release was delayed a year , which is never a good sign, but direcotr John Madden’s Shakespeare in Love suffered the same fate and look what happened with that!
