   The note was regarding a standing ovation for the winner of the category. There were only four Standing O’s tonight: Kirk Douglas, Billy Crystal, the Honorary winners and the PS22 choir. None of the award winners received anything more individual camp isolated ovations. Which is rather surprising. Almost makes me believe that the producers instructed the audience to stay seated.

   I am sure Kirk Douglas received a standing ovation.

   Along with the Governor’s awards recipients.

   I’m sure the younger demographic were all wondering why Justin Bieber wasn’t in the front row.
