Not terribly instructive so far after the Oscar nominations have been revealed and right before the Oscars are announced, but four of the five nominees for the Oscar for Best Original Score are nominated here with three of them earning three nominations and the fourth (Little Women) picking up two. Curiously missing is Randy Newman’s Marriage Story score, which was mysteriously left out altogether with its spot in the top category being taken by How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World.
