The battle between Roger Deakins and Claudio Miranda continues with another split decision leading up to the Oscars. Deakins has struggled for years to find a film that would net him an Oscar and he might have finally found one. Deakins is a favorite with the ASC, so his win doesn’t mean an Oscar is guaranteed, but it might help this time out.
