The Grand Budapest Hotel continues to steamroll through the Best Original Screenplay awards, likely leading to its win at the Oscars. With Richard Linklater and Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu both pursuing Best Director and Best Picture, voters seem to be most inclined to make sure Wes Anderson, one of the most prominent indie filmmakers working today, doesn’t go home empty-handed. On the other side of the writing coin, The Imitation Game may finally be in a position to win at least one Oscar this year.
