The nominees for the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards were announced this morning. While they have 109 categories, 3 of them are film related (with television mixed in), but their eligibility year runs through October, so late-year releases don’t compete until the following year. Therefore, take these nominations with a grain of salt as some 2009 contenders are included and some 2010 aren’t. (if you’re curious, check out the full list of nominations here.)

And looking at the following, there are only four of the total fifteen nominations that are 2010 eligible (highlighted in bold), so there isn’t much Oscar prognostication these can do (and historically, they rarely do)
