Rating: D
Commentary: Cheesy tagline with dull poster design and glaring Smiths just doesn’t have the impact the studios will eventually want. I expect a more interesting design will eventually make itself known. 		Rating: C
Commentary: My suspicions from the first trailer are confirmed in this second. A father-son drama is turned into an action film featuring dozens of cobbled-together action set pieces that only titillate. There’s nothing truly exciting about a film whose message is obvious and whose execution is unexecptional. Shyamalan’s latest film will probably be his first without some shock twist and if it does have a twist, will annoying care at that point?

Oscar Chances: I doubt much outside of the technical categories, Sound Mixing, Sound Editing and Visual Effects, will be within reach of this film.
