Everything M. Night Shyamalan’s ever done has carried his name in bold recognition. The trailer doesn’t even mention Shyamalan’s name. If he’s that toxic…why even give him the reins?

After Earth

	Rating: None Commentary: Poster was a placeholder at the time this post was written.	Rating: C+ Commentary: Hey look! It’s future earth! A film that’s pro-nature in a way that Avatar was but looking considerably less exciting. Jaden and Will Smith may be the perfect fit for this type of actioner, but M. Night Shyamalan is a director whose films are so reviled, that he doesn’t even merit a mention in the trailer. Since it looks like the film is light on plot, that might help make this one of Shyamalan’s least annoying films.
