Commentary: It’s a stirring musical arrangement and the film will most certainly appeal to the target demographic. I just hope it has cross-over appeal as the trailer doesn’t make it look like too terrible a film.

Oscar Chances: The film has that uplifting undercurrent that could play well with Academy members and with Oscar winners and nominees in the cast, it could be a solid contender if it turns out to be any good.
