Commentary: Woody has never particularly been exotic with his poster designs and that works to an extent. Here, you have Cate Blacnhett becoming the film’s sales tool with support from a laundry list of prominent names and that’s it. It will work as his films’ past designs have. 		Rating: B
Commentary: Having the chance to see Cate Blanchett in a Woody Allen movie is something of a coup. This talented actress will be working with a man who’s elicited some of the strongest female performances in history. The story looks like it’s filled with drama sticks close to Woody’s mythos and style, which should engage all of his existing fans, though non-fans might be a bit harder to sell on it.

Oscar Chances: Woody Allen always enters the Oscar conversation, but frequently misses the boat. This looks like a key player for at least Best Actress, which could also nab him a Best Original Screenplay nomination and possibly even one for Best Picture.
