It’s not Hayao Miyazaki, which makes me less excited even if he did co-write the screenplay with his son.

Commentary: It easily evokes the style of Hayao Miyazaki, which should be enough to make it a higher grossing anime film than most released without the Miyazaki name attached, even if he’s only a co-writer. 		Rating: B
Commentary: It looks like an appealing, sweet and generous anime feature and with Miyazaki as a co-writer, it might not be so bad.

Oscar Chances: It isn’t really Miyazaki which won’t make the Academy feel it’s necessary to reward it.
