Elle Fanning is my favorite young actress working today. Giving this a chance will be on my list of things to do this year.

	Rating: C Commentary: Hey! It’s Ginger & Rosa. The design does little to forward the concepts of the film and doesn’t really do anything unique or compelling.	Rating: B Commentary: Apart from the staggering number of prominent actors, Elle Fanning takes control of the trailer and makes this look like another clever period coming-of-age story.

Oscar Chances: It would be too early in the year for the film to gain serious Oscar traction, but considering it was on the eligibility list for this last year’s Oscars, it isn’t going to be eligible anyway even if Elle Fanning has gotten strong notices.
