Commentary: It works for what it is. It’s far more limited than I would expect from Disney, though not featuring an entire cast of characters in looney positions is meritorious. 		Rating: C
Commentary: It’s a simple teaser, but one that does not present the charm or the wittiness that made this character popular. So far, this just looks like a vane attempt to wring money out of character fans.

Oscar Chances: The fourth Shrek film collapsed as an Oscar contender and this is a spin-off of a sequel, so how that flies with the Academy all depends on how critics respond.
