Plot Summary: From IMDb: “A recently slain cop joins a team of undead police officers working for the Rest in Peace Department and tries to find the man who murdered him.”

Rating: D+
Commentary: Your movie is about dead cops sending dead people back to the grave and this is the image you present them. I’m sorry, but as much as I like Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges, this is a terrible choice of designs and would urge me to sit the film out instead of cautiously catching it on the big screen. 		Rating: C-
Commentary: I don’t know if the trailer’s designers thought about just how similar the film’s plot was to Men in Black, but they’ve managed to draw attention to those similarities with this trailer, which will only serve to push away those who consider the concept a cheesey ploy to replicate that alien-based film’s success.

Oscar Chances: Looking like Men in Black won’t prohibit the film from Oscar consideration and this movie could go for the same categories the Will Smith-starrer did originally. However, outside of Makeup and Hairstyling, I really can’t see the film going anywhere with Oscar.
