Plot Summary: A 911 operator who once failed to save a young woman from being brutally assaulted and killed, takes a young girl trapped in a trunk personally as she goes to great lengths to save her from the very serial killer who precipitated her prior failure.

Commentary: It seems like a fairly straightforward thriller, but the premise is such that it could work and Halle Berry seems to be getting into the meat of the role while having Abigail Breslin on board helps bolster the film’s creds.

Oscar Chances: If it’s releasing in March, it’s probably a serviceable film, but not an Oscar contender unless an outpouring of support emerges for Berry.
