Commentary: Hearing Benedict Cumberbatch as Julian Assange is tough when one is so used to his tremulous baritone. Still, the promise is that this film will examine Assange from several angles, which might help to bring non-Assange fans to the theater.

Oscar Chances: It’s an incredibly timely topic which should generate sizable buzz this Oscar season, particularly for Benedict Cumberbatch’s performance in one of his gazillion films coming out this year.
