On Wednesdays, we preview all of the upcoming new wide and limited releases hitting the theaters the coming weekend. On Fridays, we’ll now tell you what you should see. We pose two questions each week to our contributors and their responses are posted below.

Wesley Lovell

1. Which of the four new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
There is one clear leader of this week’s pack for me: Source Code. I like Sci-Fi a decent amount and Jake Gyllenhaal is always interesting, so we’ll give it a whirl.
2. Are there any limited release features this week that you would recommend (and why)?
In a Better World would be an excellent choice for Oscar fans, but others may enjoy the triviality of Rubber.

Peter J. Patrick

1. Which of the four new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
Source Code, because director Duncan Jones’ first film, Moon, was such a pleasant surprise.
2. Are there any limited release features this week that you would recommend (and why)?
In a Better World because it’s the most recent Oscar winner for Best Foreign Film.

Tripp Burton

1. Which of the four new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
Source Code is probably your best bet, but any of them can probably save you $12 and wait for the DVD.
2. Are there any limited release features this week that you would recommend (and why)?
In A Better World has an Oscar (as does the watered down The King’s Speech), so go for the gold.
