On Wednesdays, we preview all of the upcoming new wide and limited releases hitting the theaters the coming weekend. On Fridays, we’ll now tell you what you should see. We pose two questions each week to our contributors and their responses are posted below.

1. Which of the three new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
I can’t say that any of them really appeal to me, but I like Paul Rudd and since Our Idiot Brother doesn’t look awful, it would be my recommendation.
2. Are there any limited release features this week that you would recommend (and why)?
Chasing Madoff has the most potential for educational importance, so I’d give that film a try.

Our Idiot Brother might be worth the time for a few laughs.

No.

Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark has the best pedigree here.
2. Are there any limited release features this week that you would recommend (and why)?
Both Brighton Rock and Chasing Madoff have a lot going for them and look like interesting films.
