On Wednesdays, we preview all of the upcoming new wide and limited releases hitting the theaters the coming weekend. On Fridays, we’ll now tell you what you should see. We pose two questions each week to our contributors and their responses are posted below.

1. Which of the two new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
My money this weekend may be going to Priest, but I would rather recommend Bridesmaids because it looks more entertaining. 2. Are there any limited release features this week that you would recommend (and why)?
You owe it to yourself to check out the Life and Work of Jack Cardiff, though you might also be entertained with the documentary on Harper Lee or, the Will Farrell indie comedy Everything Must Go, the Natalie Portman produced/starrer Hesher with Joseph Gordon-Levitt or the documentary about living longer by cinematographer Haskell Wexler’s son Mark called How to Live Forever.

1. Which of the two new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
I don’t recommend seeing anything this week. 2. Are there any limited release features this week that you would recommend (and why)?
Maybe Hey, Boo: Harper Lee & To Kill a Mockingbird out of curiosity.

1. Which of the two new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
Neither of them look too intriguing, but they are both straightforward genre films, so pick the one that fits you the best 2. Are there any limited release features this week that you would recommend (and why)? Cameraman and Hey, Boo both look like fitting tributes to great artists
My wife wanted to see Bridesmaids, so I saw it as well. I must admit that, though too long and about what one would expect from a Judd Apatow production, I liked it. Maybe it was seeing the raunch from a female perspective. It had several standout comedy scenes, with the food poisoning/bridal shop scene the most outrageous. I’d say that Kristen Wiig has a shot at a GG – Comedy/Musical Best Actress nomination.
